International Nut and Dried Fruit Council 

The INC is the international source for information on nuts and dried fruits for health, nutrition, food safety, statistics, government standards and government regulations regarding trade barriers and trade quality standards. Nuts and dried fruits are a great source of vitamins and nutrients, and have many benefits for human health. Nuts may help reduce the risk for chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes and some forms of cancer. As little as one handful – or one ounce- of nuts per day can provide nutritional benefits. Moreover, nuts and dried fruits result in a delicious addition to just about any recipe.
